AstroFridays – Embracing your inner Venus

It’s AstroFriday on FemCentral! Since the topic this week has been the search for “inner beauty,” I decided today to focus on the planet Venus. To quote Elizabeth Rose Campbell’s book Intuitive Astrology,

“Venus is the instinct to love as well as the instinct to create beauty, art, and healing…Venus is where you fall in love with yourself. Then, as a consequence of being in love with yourself, others…fall in love with you too. Venus in Sagittarius – You like lots of new and different experiences; makes sure to step out of your comfort zone on a regular basis!

Venus in Capricorn – You take a practical and dependable approach to love and beauty; you look for dependable friends and partners.  Show yourself love by demonstrating that you can always depend on yourself!

Venus in Aquarius – A bit quirky in love and romance; likes to be alone in a crowd; gets a rush from joining a humanitarian cause. I have both the sun and Venus in Aquarius (in fact, in my chart, they are conjunct each other – merged together).  While writing this post for FemCentral, I’m hanging out, by myself, in a crowded café.
