Books on conception, pregnancy, parenting

These are a few of my favorite books.  Feel free to post your own; I know there are a lot of good ones out there!

The following two books were co-authored by various members of the Bill (MD) and Martha (RN) Sears family.  They raised eight children and have been practicing pediatric medicine for more than 30 years. See www.askdrsears.com

  • The Hidden Gifts of the Introverted Child by Marti Olsen Laney, Psy.D.  I recommended this book to my son’s school counselor, and she bought a copy for the school.  She tells me that parents borrow it all the time.  If you aren’t sure whether your child is introverted or not (Introversion is not the same as being shy! My son and I are both non-shy introverts), check out The Introvert Advantage website.  There are some great resources for introverted adults there as well.  Introverts are only 25% of the US population, so we are often misunderstood!
